Accessorizing is a big part of fashion, an outfit doesn’t just consist of clothes. Clothes, shoes, and accessories are all the properties that tie an outfit together. Accessories could mean jewelry, handbags, and/or hats.
In due time I’ll talk about hats, and handbags. For right now, I want to get into jewelry!
I would say I wear a good amount of jewelry. I’m really big on necklace stacking, I absolutely love anklets, and I’ll wear a few rings on multiple fingers on both hands. I’m even getting into toe rings, I just haven’t found any I want to spend money on just yet.
Growing up my mom bought me really expensive jewelry. I grew up used to my jewelry not turning no matter what I did, so it’s very annoying to spend any amount on anything, and it doesn’t hold up well. Obviously I can’t buy real diamonds and solid gold for myself, but that doesn’t mean I have to settle for cheap, tarnishable jewelry.
There are a lot of jewelry brands that sell affordable, nontarnishable jewelry that will last you. You’ll be able to wash your hands, or wear your jewelry in the shower, without the fear of it turning.
There’s so many jewelry brands that I love, whether I have a personal experience with the company, or I just admire their pieces. I’m going to show you guys some of my favorite jewelry sites, ranging in pricing, but definitely worth the money!
1. Amy Shehab
I absolutely love this company!! Most of my jewelry is from here, and I’ve owned them for about 3 years now. All the necklaces, and rings I purchased from this brand still look brand new! I wear her pieces all day everyday, including in the shower, and they’ve never turned. Her prices are a little pricey, but worth every penny, and still more affordable than genuine jewelry. Any Shehab is definitely my favorite!
2. 1929 Galore
This brand is black owned, and I don’t know about you guys, but I love supporting black owned businesses! I bought an anklet from them a few months back, and I absolutely love it! Their pieces are very stylish, very fly, and great quality! This brand is a little more on the pricey side, but not too expensive!
3. Vic and Ko
This company was started by two best friends, Mariko and Victoria. I for one, admire besties getting the bag together! I do have experience with this company, and have nothing but great things to say. I purchased a choker, and a bracelet from them about 2 years ago! They’ve never turned, and still look brand new! Their prices are really affordable, and they have sales on their site quite often.
4. Kaeche
I haven’t purchased from this brand yet, but it’s black owned which is a reason to support! I’ve looked at their prices, and they are very affordable. Their jewelry is so cute, and very trendy! It’s giving baddie vibes!
5. Ethereal Jewelry
I’ve had my eye on this brand for a while! A little bit pricey, but very unique pieces. There’s really not much to say, but I do love this brand, and I hope to purchase jewelry from them soon!
6. Fraiser Sterling
This brand makes adorable jewelry that is super affordable! Their specialize in customizable pieces. Their jewelry is very trendy, looks good stacked, or by themselves! I definitely have my eye on a few of their products! They’re also having 30% off the entire site, which is a definite steal!
7. Evry Jewelry
I found this brand on tiktok, and I feel in love with their products. Their jewelry is trendy, and so adorable! Very affordable, and they have cute matching jewelry sets for you and your besties!
8. Shop Juliet Charlotte
Besides Amy Shehab, this is another one of my favorite jewelry brands! I own the “999” angel number necklace, and have been trying to get my heads on a few more. Every time she restocks, her inventory sales out in only minutes! That just goes to show how popular, and loved her brand is!
9. Chvker Jewelry
This brand was started 7 years ago by a broke college student with only $20 worth of supplies. Now her jewelry is worn by many influencers and celebrities, we just love to see a dream come true! The founder is inspired by jewelry from the early 90’s, dainty and minimalistic! They are very affordable, and they are also having 20% off their site! I don’t own any jewelry from this company, but I plan to very soon!
Jewelry is definitely a staple to any outfit! Whether you’re stacking, or if you’re into the whole less is more. You can never go wrong with adding some cute rings, necklaces, or bracelets to your outfit! A little piece of advice from me to you; you’re never fully dressed without accessories!

Right on sis!!! I couldn’t agree more. I always am having to be so careful about my jewelry because it ends up deteriorating over time and I’m just having to buy a new set of jewelry all the time. Obviously right now since we’re so young and not able to afford what we truly want, it’s difficult to find brands that use solid, valuable material that’ll last you for a long time! Girl, you just saved me $$$$ putting me on brands that fix that problem!
